How to Redirect to Another Page in HTML

You can redirect users to another page in HTML using the meta refresh tag inside the section. This method automatically sends visitors to another URL after a specified number of seconds.

HTML Code

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=https://example.com">

Example

<head>
  <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=https://example.com">
</head>

This will redirect users to example.com immediately.

Redirect After a Delay

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; url=https://example.com">

This redirects users after 5 seconds.

Note

For better SEO and user experience, server-side redirects (such as 301 redirects) are usually recommended. However, the meta refresh method can be useful when you only have access to HTML.
